Professional Counseling: Support for Your Mental and Emotional Health
At Alpha Center, we understand that true wellness includes mental and emotional health. Life can be challenging, and you don’t have to navigate difficult times on your own. Since 2016, Alpha Center in Fort Collins has proudly offered Professional Counseling services to support our community through life’s complexities.
Alpha Center's counseling services
Like all of Alpha Center’s services, counseling sessions are free and up to six sessions are available to you. These sessions may be individual or as a couple. No insurance is required, nor is insurance billed as our services are covered by donations through the generosity of our community.
Our counseling approach (6 free sessions) is primarily a solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), offered in a confidential space designed to encourage, support and empower. Clients should expect to receive the following:
- A Collaborative Relationship: Counselor and client will work together to understand current problems and roadblocks, while also formulating a plan for future flourishing.
- Navigating Life Transitions: Getting support during major changes like job loss, grief, separation, or starting a family.
- Developing Coping Skills: Building resilience to manage stress, anxiety, and general difficult life circumstances tailored to your personal strengths.

Alpha Center welcomes and serves everyone with respect and dignity. You do not have to be a Christian to attend counseling at Alpha Center, and religion does not have to be a part of your appointment unless you desire it to be.
