How much does it cost?

All of the services offered at the Alpha Center are completely FREE of charge. That includes pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, STDs/STIs Screening, options counseling, and support services.

Will anyone I know find out that I have been here?

We operate under complete confidentiality. We know it’s hard to take the first step and we want you to know that we respect you for taking it.

Alpha Center is a mandatory reporter. Feel free to ask your medical professional more about this.

If you are a Christian organization, does that mean you are going to push religion on me?

Not at all. We would never continue a conversation about spiritual issues without your permission. Most people feel there is a spiritual component to life, so we would be remiss if we ignored it. However, we believe it is dishonoring to God to push religion or Christianity on someone.

Why should I come to you first?

You deserve to get accurate information and support as you make important decisions about your sexual health or pregnancy. There simply is not a more comprehensive support system to help you explore all of your options with a professional who doesn’t benefit financially from any of your decisions.

Who will see me at my appointment?

At Alpha Center you will always be seen by qualified medical professionals. You can address your most pressing health questions with a qualified, informed health professional.

If I have already made my decision about my pregnancy, why should I contact you?

If your appointment is for services related to an unplanned pregnancy, you will get to speak one-on-one with a registered nurse who is trained in pregnancy options education.

No matter what decision you have made, we can help. If you have chosen to parent we can help you make community connections for ongoing support. If you have chosen to explore making an adoption plan, we can help you understand what steps you will need to take and connect you to an agency that specializes in adoptions. If you are choosing to terminate your pregnancy we offer an ultrasound to confirm that your pregnancy is viable. We can provide information that will assist you in making an informed, thoughtful, educated decision.

What can I expect when I come in for an appointment?

You can expect to be treated without judgment by medical professionals who sincerely care about you. We do everything we can to make you comfortable and provide you with factual information.
